The Administrative Office of the Courts was established by the 1957 Legislature and operates under the direction and supervision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, pursuant to Chapter 2.56 RCW. The AOC is organized into four areas; Administration, Information Services Division, Judicial Services Division, Management Services Division.
